Welcome to SOZO Holistic Healing
If you’re a mom (or a woman who’s poured herself out for everyone else) and you’re tired of feeling stuck in fatigue, pain, anxiety, or “something is off,” you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. At SOZO Holistic Healing, I support women with a trauma-informed, biblically grounded approach that considers the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
This post will help you understand what biblical naturopathic care is, who it’s for, and what a first step can look like if you’re ready for gentle, practical support.
What is biblical naturopathic care?
Many women are familiar with “natural” care—herbs, supplements, movement, nutrition, detox support, and lifestyle changes. Biblical naturopathic care includes those tools, but it also looks deeper for root causes that may be connected to your stress load, emotional patterns, nervous system, and spiritual health.
In sessions, we may explore practical wellness foundations alongside things like mindset shifts, clearing trapped emotions/energetic imbalances, and supportive spiritual disciplines. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s restoration and sustainable progress in the season you’re in.
Why “mind–body–spirit” matters (especially for moms)
Motherhood can magnify what’s already been there: unresolved trauma, chronic stress, nutrient depletion, sleep disruption, and hormonal shifts. When we only address one layer (for example, supplements without nervous system support), it can feel like you’re doing “all the right things” but not getting lasting results.
- Body: nourishment, minerals, gut support, gentle detox pathways, movement, rest
- Mind: thought patterns, overwhelm, stress physiology, emotional processing
- Spirit: identity, peace, spiritual heaviness, and practices that anchor you
When these layers are supported together, healing often feels less like “pushing through” and more like coming back home to yourself.
What a Revive session is like
Revive sessions are one-on-one, 60-minute consultations designed to meet you where you are. Some women come for fertility and hormone support, postpartum wellness, chronic pain/fatigue, emotional heaviness, or simply a sense that their body needs help recalibrating.
One tool I may use is muscle testing (also called applied kinesiology/muscle response testing). It’s a way to gather information from the body’s bio-electrical feedback—helping us identify areas like sensitivities, toxins, nutritional needs, trapped emotions, or structural stressors so we can create a focused plan. For virtual sessions (and for babies/young children), I often use proxy testing.
How many sessions will you need?
Every woman’s story is different, but as a general guide: minor concerns may improve in 1–2 sessions, moderate concerns often take 3–5 sessions, and more significant issues typically take longer. Your commitment between sessions matters—lasting change comes from small, consistent steps.
Three gentle first steps you can take today
- Stabilize your basics: eat protein at breakfast, hydrate, and get outside light in the morning.
- Downshift your nervous system: 3 minutes of slow breathing (inhale 4, exhale 6) before meals or bedtime.
- Invite peace: choose one short Scripture to meditate on daily and pair it with a simple prayer for your body.
These aren’t “fixes”—they’re foundations. If you’ve been in survival mode, foundations are powerful.
Ready for support?
If you’re naturally minded, open to a whole-person approach, and you’re ready to take one step at a time with guidance, Revive may be a great fit. You don’t have to do this alone.
